R B Realtors & Consultants (Private Limited), is named after Richard Buultjens, the Managing Director/CEO, a respected and well known personality in the Real Estate Industry in Sri Lanka. Having joined Crescat Developments in 2003, while the apartment industry was still in its infancy, where he was involved in the marketing and sale of the Crescat Residencies, he could therefore be considered as one of the pioneers of the apartment industry in Sri Lanka.
With Crescat developments having being acquired by the John Keells Group later that year, Mr Buultjens became a vital cog in the Real Estate machinery of John Keells Land until he left as Head of Sales and Marketing in 2014 where he was chiefly involved in the marketing and selling of apartments in the Crescat Residencies, The Monarch, The Emperor, OnThree20, 7th Sense, Gregory’s Road and the Waterfront projects. He was also in charge of the rental operation of John Keells Land, where he managed the Realty Division which handled the renting of a portfolio of apartments in the Monarch and Emperor developments.
His last endeavor was as General Manager of Colombo City Centre Partners (Private) Limited, a joint venture between the Abans Group and SilverNeedle Hospitality from Singapore. Reporting Directly to the Board, he was responsible for setting up of the operations of the Company and he played a major role in the project achieving approximately 45% sales within a very short span of time using his vast database of customers acquired over the past 13 years in the industry.
Mr Buultjens, with this experience behind him and his ability to empathize with customers, most of whom are of his vintage has been involved in and been a part of teams which have been responsible for the sale of nearly 1350 apartments totaling nearly US$ 500 million.
In a working career spanning 34 years, Mr Buultjens has worked both in Export Marketing as well as Domestic Marketing and has also had the good fortune of receiving his formative experience in two of the oldest English Companies in Sri Lanka, namely Mackwoods Limited and Delmege Forsyth & Company Limited. He also has experience of working in an ISO 2000 Company, having been instrumental in setting up the systems in a tea export company named Tea Tang Limited, which is a subsidiary of the well- known B. P De Silva Group, based in Singapore.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Mr Buultjens is also a Member of the Institute of Export (UK), a Member of the Association of Business Executives (UK), and also holds an MBA from the University of Honolulu.
Sanjay currently functions as the General Manager of R B Realtors (Pvt) Limited. He has vast experience in Sales and Marketing in the Real Estate Sector and is a skilled individual who specializes in Strategic selling. His areas of expertise also cover business consulting, negotiating large deals, mergers and JVs, as well as housing development.
Equipped with the ability to move through the sales cycle rapidly by gaining quick commitment from customers, he also maintains strong relationships with them by ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, working with his clients to understand and identify their needs and goals and to deliver a product to meet or exceed their expectations. This has also helped him to expand his contact base which in turns has helped him to develop new business. He has experience in mentoring new sales personnel and has also conducted sales training for them.
Sanjay has over 14 years experience in the real estate industry in Sri Lanka. He has worked for many leading property developers in Sri Lanka, namely, Abans - Colombo City Centre as Manager Sales and Marketing, Jones Lang lassie Lanka (Private) Limited, Kelsey Homes (Pvt) Ltd. Pership Group – Exotic Asian Living (Pvt) Ltd, Carmart Limited, Edirisinghe Trust Investments Ltd., ETI Homes (Pvt) Ltd and The Finance Company (Pvt) Ltd.
Michael is the Manager Real Estate Sales and Business development of R B Realtors and Consultants (Private) Limited. A qualified Real estate professional possessing strong administrative, organisational and communication skills with a proven track record in the Industry, Michael has the capability and necessary skills, drive and determination needed to create opportunities and to succeed in winning business. Michael has over 8 years of experience in the real estate sector in Sri Lanka and Dubai.
He started his real estate career in Dubai as a real estate agent, and was responsible for renting high end condominiums for Al Rais properties. He returned to Sri Lanka and was a partner in Exclusive Properties, where he was involved in general real estate - selling houses, apartments , lands , and commercial properties during which time, Michael acquired an in depth knowledge of the overall Sri Lankan Real Estate market..
Thereafter, he joined JLL (John's Lang Lasalle) as Manager, Transactions, and was responsible for Sales and Marketing of the Astoria condominium project in Colombo 3, a 200 million dollar mixed development project by AVIC Corporation, CHINA. While at Astoria he was highly recommended by clients who bought apartments for his commitment and dedication to his job and his customers, while also implementing marketing and sales strategies which proved to be highly effective and successful.
